Audition Information for 2013-2014

The Lubbock Symphony Orchestra announces auditions for its 2013-2014 season: In Pursuit of Beauty.

Auditions will be held at the Texas Tech University School of Music as follows:

            Strings:

                        When:              Saturday, August 24, 2013

                        Time:               9am-5pm

                        Room#:           010 (Choir Hall)

Winds and Brass:

                        When:              Sunday, August 25, 2013

                        Time:               1pm-5pm

                        Room#:           010 (Choir Hall)

Positions are available for the following instruments:

Concertmaster  Audition will be held July 24 (time and location TBD) 

Principal 2^nd Violin

Principal Viola

Principal Harp

Section positions are open in the following:

Violin

Viola

Cello

Bass

Flute III/Piccolo

Horn

Substitue positions are open in each of the above instruments, plus the following:

Tenor Trombone

Bass Trombone
